Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the U.S. for more than 10 decades. She was part and was captain for the US Olympic Women's Gymnastics Team Final Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). In 2012 her year, she received gold in the team competitions along with the floor exercise. For the balance beam, Raisman was awarded the bronze medal. She was the first American to be awarded many Olympic medals. In 2016, the Olympics saw her win gold in the team event, earning both she as well as Gabby the distinction of being the only Americans ever to have consecutive team golds.
